Room Selection: Decide where you’ll place each box. Take into consideration where you spend the most time watching TV.
Access to the Roof: Upon arrival at your home, your installation technician will decide the ideal spot for the satellite TV dish. Make sure that he or she is able to easily and safely reach the roof.
Speak with your Property Manager: If you live in a condo or apartment building, be sure to attain the manager’s approval before beginning installation. Some landlords require paperwork to be filled out prior to the setting up of hardware.
The installation process couldn’t be simpler. Your DIRECTV installer will arrive ready to get to work. Most installations take between two to four hours. This includes the installation of equipment both on the roof and inside of the home. At the end of the installation, you’ll be treated to a simple demonstration that explains how the system works. All that’s left after that is hours and hours of great satellite TV entertainment!
